ABOUT
I’m Hayley from beautiful Mid-Wales in the UK. I've been cross stitching for almost 30 years! Eek!
I have stitched since childhood but fell head first back into cross stitch about ten years ago. At the time I had been diagnosed with PTSD and an anxiety disorder and desperately needed something to help me cope. I turned back to my love of stitching, finding something calming with the familiar pull of thread through fabric to create something beautiful. Since then I’ve studied textiles with the Open College of the Arts, which was absolutely fascinating.
I started designing because I wanted stitching to feel cosy, seasonal and approachable — a creative pocket of calm that fits into real, busy life. (As a busy mum with a young family its nap times, evenings, five stolen minutes… if you know you know. 😉)
What began as a hobby slowly grew into this little community of stitchers who love the same calming rhythm of making something lovely, one tiny stitch at a time.
My designs are inspired by:
🍁 the changing seasons
🌳 woodland adventures
✨ and the everyday magic of making.
Thank you for being here. Truly. I appreciate each one of you so very much.
Happy stitching!
